About Neelam (Blue Sapphire)

The Blue Sapphire is a miraculous gemstone capable of yielding results very rapidly. Technically, the Blue Sapphire is a stone with a hardness rating of approximately 9 point. In English, it is known as the Sapphire. The finest sapphires are mined in Ceylon—now known as Sri Lanka. Consequently, Ceylonese sapphires are considered the absolute best. Sapphires from Kashmir, India, are also renowned, though their availability is extremely limited. Apart from Sri Lanka and Kashmir, sapphires are also found in Myanmar, Australia, China, Thailand, and certain parts of the United States. However, among all these sources, the sapphires from Sri Lanka and Kashmir are regarded as superior. It is widely believed that if a Blue Sapphire begins to yield positive results for an individual, it can transform them into a millionaire within just a few days or months.
Generally, individuals whose Ascendant (Lagna) falls in the signs of Taurus, Libra, Capricorn, or Aquarius—or those whose birth charts feature the Moon positioned in Taurus, Libra, Capricorn, or Aquarius—can derive significant benefits from wearing a Blue Sapphire.
Typically, a Blue Sapphire of a light blue hue is considered the most auspicious. A Blue Sapphire may be cut into various shapes—such as round or square—but it must be free from any impurities or defects.
