In Vedic astrology, numerous factors are taken into consideration when determining the right moment to launch a business. For instance, a business should always be initiated on an auspicious Tithi (lunar day) and an auspicious Vaar (weekday). On the specific day chosen to launch the business, the position of the transiting Moon—relative to your birth Rashi (Zodiac sign) or your name Rashi must be auspicious. Experience suggests that when commencing any business, one must critically assess the strength and favorability of the transiting Moon. Consequently, the five days preceding and the five days following a Purnima (Full Moon) are considered particularly auspicious for initiating a business venture. 

Furthermore, specific days such as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are considered excellent for business related activities. Among the Nakshatras Punarvasu, Shravana, Shatabhisha, Bharani, Purva Ashadha, Purva Phalguni, Purva Bhadrapada, Vishakha and Pushya are deemed especially auspicious. If the inauguration involves a factory or industrial unit, the Nakshatras ruled by Saturn may also be considered suitable.
